MPAMA’s Summer Camp, located in Dayton and South Brunswick, is HIRING for the 2024 Season!

We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to serve as coaches for our exciting summer camp program. As a coach, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and mentor campers in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, both indoor and outdoor sports & much more! Our summer camp is the BEST!

What we're looking for:

· Experience in leading small group activities

· Experience in arts and crafts, and/or sports

· Enthusiasm for working with children and helping them develop new skills

· Strong communication and leadership abilities

· Creativity and a passion for creating memorable camp experiences

What you'll do:

· Lead engaging sessions in arts and crafts, and various games & sports activities

· Foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers can learn and grow

· Collaborate with fellow coaches and camp staff to create a dynamic camp environment

· Serve as a mentor and role model for campers, helping them build confidence and self-esteem

To qualify for our amazing team, you must meet the following requirements:

· Must have a clean criminal background and pass a background screening

· Must be over the age of 18

· Must have experience working with children

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude for success!

· Must own a smartphone or computer for regular text and email communication.

This awesome job will have up to 25 hours per week at $15-$17 per hour. We have morning and afternoon shifts available!

Application Question(s):

• As you know, we work with children here at MPAMA, so it is mandatory by the state of New Jersey that we background screen all of our team members. Is there anything on your criminal record that would prevent you from working with children?
• This position requires a 9-wk commitment. Are you able to work M-F from 6/24-8/23? Hours would be fixed at AM shift or PM shift for duration of 9 consecutive weeks (730am-1pm, 1pm-630pm)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Experience with Children: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
